OW MUCH DOES IT COST ?The following is a fee schedule for the services offered to expunge/seal or dismiss criminal charges:
OW LONG DOES IT TAKE ?MISDEMEANOR EXPUNGEMENTS:The time needed to process and complete and expungement of a misdemeanor case in the Los Angeles area can take place within two weeks because of the proximity of the court(s) and if all pertinent information is provided initially. If it is necessary to search for the case information, it can take an additional several weeks. Cases to be expunged outside the Los Angeles area generally take three to four weeks after the submission of a completed application for expungement. FELONY EXPUNGEMENTS:An expungement of a felony conviction (called a Certificate of Rehabilitation) will generally take at least four weeks to complete if all of the information, including petition completion, is provided to our office. REDUCTIONS FROM FELONY TO MISDEMEANORS:The reduction of a felony to a metamorphic will take at least four weeks from the time the paperwork is completed in our office. SEALING:If you are seeking to have a juvenile record sealed it will take a minimum of 2 weeks in the Los Angeles area and take as long as six weeks if out of Los Angeles County. DISCLAIMER:The time necessary to process and complete your expungement depends on the timeliness the statistical information, retainer and signatures are provided to the office; also if the court that the conviction in is outside of Los Angeles County, the time frame can increase by several weeks because of the logistics in coordinating with the out-of-county court.
